SWAMP TOUR
For 4th of July this year John and I drove over to Cajun Encounters for a swamp tour. It’s been twenty years since we last went and it was as fun as I remembered. We saw tons of gators, but also other wildlife like birds and raccoons. You are less than an hour outside the city, but visually it’s another world.
If you haven’t been—or haven’t been in awhile—I highly recommend the trip for a fun day in the swamp. But maybe bring bug spray!
