DECEMBER 2021 ON THE ROAD

Never in all the years making this cross country drive have we had such good weather. No snow and no rain the whole ride.
Let me say that again.
We drove from Seattle to New Orleans in December with no snow or even any rain.

Because of that we were able to take a few different roads and see a few different towns. We were able to drive through parts of New Mexico that were 10,000 feet high. We camped at a remote site in the Sheldon National Wildlife Refuge, and visited a dear old friend in Texas.
And every sign picture I took had sun. If we’d only known ahead of time I might have tried for a trip through Colorado.
