A couple weeks ago I shipped seven new paintings up to Patricia Rovzar Gallery. These paintings can now be previewed at her website or at my sneak peek page.

I packed up all seven of the paintings and coordinated with Patricia and UPS to get them from New Orleans to Seattle. Now, I’ve shipped paintings before, but never had home pick-up in the middle of a COVID environment.

After packing up the paintings I sprayed them all with Lysol. I printed out the paperwork (spritzed that too), cleaned a pen and attached it all to a clipboard. I put a sign on my front door for my delivery person (because I work in building in the back of the house) —and had my mask ready. And viola! It all worked perfectly. I brought out each box one at a time and he loaded them on his cart. He had a mask too. And when it was all done, we both laughed as we shared some hand sanitizer—and he indulged me a photo of my paintings heading out. He could tell I was a little more than nervous about sending those boxes away.
