BLUE MOON

It's rare to see a human figure in one of my paintings, but the Blue Moon is an irresistible Seattle icon. Opened in 1934, the Blue Moon is only one of a few blue-collar taverns left in the University District.

Here's a pic of my painting as well as a couple pics of the sign in real life. The original sign with a different woman and pose now lives inside the bar.
